Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women

On Tuesday December 6th at the CAW New Westminster Hall at 7:00 pm the CAW Women’s committee will be hosting the Annual Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women.

This Candlelight Vigil is open to our brothers and sisters alike.

It’s important that our brothers in the union take an active role in demonstrating that we are not going to tolerate violence against anyone especially our sisters, mothers and daughters.

The White Ribbon Campaign was created and started by Jack Layton and we all need to show support and talk about this issue where every we can.

Please try to attend and encourage your members and unit leadership to attend also.
